Technical cutters are used for hand processing of light alloys of non-ferrous metals, different types of plastics, woods and non-tempered steel. The cutter's drive is made by flexible shaft from motor. Technical cutters can be also used in electrical or pneumatic drills, grinders and similar machines. To achieve the best results during processing, the technical cutters are supplied with 5 types of teeth: 1. very coarse – for processing of fragile alloys, light metals, woods, fibres, rubber (soft, hard), tin, lead 2. coarse – for processing of resilient alloys, light metals, aluminium, copper, brass and bronze 3. fine – for general processing of malleable iron and steel 4. special – for processing of cast iron or tempered cast iron 5. very fine – for processing of all steel types thoroughly When high performance is required, it is recommended to use cutters with bigger teeth at high revolutions. Cutters of small teeth are used for fine and final works at low revolutions. The cutters are made of high-speed steel.
